PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN LISBON, PORTUGAL HOSTS AN AFTERNOON NETWORKING EVENT FOR YOUNG FILIPINO PROFESSIONALS IN PORTUGAL
The Philippine Embassy in Portugal, under the leadership of Philippine Ambassador Paul Raymund P. Cortes, hosted an afternoon networking event for Young Filipino Professionals in Portugal on Sunday, 21 April 2024 at the Philippine Embassy in Lisbon.
The networking event brought together 46 Filipino professionals from various fields, including business and finance, science and medicine, information technology, marketing, and hospitality. The gathering also included Filipino scholars currently pursuing master's and doctorate degrees at various Portuguese universities.
Ambassador Cortes, in his remarks, highlighted the importance of fostering connections and collaboration within the Filipino community in Portugal. He underscored the Embassy's commitment to supporting and empowering Filipino professionals, scholars, and entrepreneurs, emphasizing the potential for collective growth and success through networking and mutual support.
